About Artworks Gallery Guelph

We are a group of dedicated professional artists who have a goal of introducing innovative and inspiring art into our community.

Artworks Gallery Guelph showcases the art of our members and welcomes other artists to feature their unique art at special exhibits every 8 weeks. We have ongoing art shows with work by our members and featured artists.

In addition there are artist talks, panel discussions, small workshops and community events.

At Artworks Gallery Guelph, our mission is to cultivate an inclusive space where artistic expression thrives, fostering dialogue, inspiration, and connection within our community.

We are dedicated to showcasing diverse perspectives, supporting emerging and established artists, and enriching cultural experiences through thought-provoking exhibitions, educational programs, and collaborative initiatives.

Our goals include: providing a platform for art to be viewed; fostering connections and education through art; promoting appreciation for diverse artistic forms; offering unique experiences to the community and providing exposure to talented artists.

With a commitment to excellence and creativity, we aspire to ignite passion for the arts and contribute to the vibrant tapestry of the Guelph Community.

    Patti Collins

    LAMPS, PAINTINGS, WOODBURNING

    With no definite goal in mind, Patti Collins lets her work take shape intuitively, making adjustments as her work speaks to her. Colour, line and message evolve as she works through her process.

    The medium is not consistent; but her style is recognizable in sculptured twig lamps, paintings, jewelry, wire work, and fabric art.

    Nancy Farrell is an award-winning artist who has always been intrigued with the endless potential of abstract and non-objective painting.

    This form of expression challenges her with an unparalleled means of conveying emotion and mood through the use of shape, strong colour, and intuitive marks.

    She believes in the magical healing power of nature and creates a wide variety of paintings and mixed media work that communicates the wonder and beauty of the natural world.

    TEXTILE ART & COMMISSIONED PERSONALIZED PIECES

    Diana’s work combines many crafts, including, but not limited to; hand and machine embroidery, knitting, macrame, crocheting, beading, weaving, and sculpture.

    These creative skills allow her to speak to her human experience, frustrations, and passions, as well as allowing her to connect with and echo nature.

    CHALK PASTEL LANDSCAPES

    Suzanne Wakefield is primarily a landscape artist who works in pastels. She enjoys their immediacy and incomparable vibrant colours.

    She builds with each stroke of the pastel and invites the viewer into captivating portrayals of natural beauty.

    Suzanne also occasionally does paintings of pets and people.
